Bandai Namco recently announced on Twitter that Project X Zone 2 will have some exclusive pre-order bonuses for those who will pre-order in North America. The free downloadable content bonuses include:
- Challenge Stage - The Woman From 10 Years Ago
- Sun Sword (Overseas Exclusive Item)
- Diamond Medal Accessory (Item)
- Amethyst Medal Accessory (Item)
- Project X Zone 2 Nintendo 3DS Home theme
No pre-order plans have been announced yet by our local retailers. Even if they open one, the free downloadable content mentioned above won't be included. Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, which came out last October, suffered a similar fate. Our local retailers did not receive any Nintendo eShop bonus download codes from Bandai Namco for the Virtual Console release of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2.
Project X Zone 2 will be released on the Nintendo 3DS on February 16, 2016. Similar to its predecesor, the strategy cross-over RPG will feature original Japanese audio with English text.
