We're looking at a total price of P13,385 for all 3 sets, which is almost 70% more expensive compared to its original US SRP of $150 (around P7,817). While local retailers usually never publicly reveal how they calculate local prices, we can assume that tax, shipping (weight and size), and other tariffs may play a few factors.
You are not only paying for the cardboard and the other materials included but the actual software games as well. These programs allow you to utilize your Nintendo Switch and JoyCons to control various crafts physically as an interactive toy line. It is aimed at a younger audience to promote creativity and patience.
Most Filipinos might find the final local prices to be a little expensive. For reference, you'll only need to add P5000 more to get a brand new Nintendo Switch console instead. Then again, some might argue that the time you spent with your kids in building and using the various Nintendo Labo kits is priceless. Are the prices justified for such experience?
