Mew hiding under the Vermillion City truck in the Generation 1 Pokemon games and remakes maybe one of the most enduring video game myths of all time but this one's pretty real!
After distributing Event Arceus serial codes last December, Maxsoft once again teased Pokemon trainers about an impending Pokemon distribution. If you aren't familiar with Maxsoft, they are the sole and official distributor of Nintendo products in the territories of Southeast Asia and the Middle East. They have distributed Pokemon OR/AS Special Demo codes, Eon Ticket codes, and legit Diancie, Hoopa, Shiny Rayquaza, and Arceus serial codes through their Facebook page in the past.
This distribution is linked to Pokemon's 20th Anniversary event lineup. Mew is currently being distributed in the US through serial codes from participating GameStop stores. As there are no GameStop stores in the Philippines, the only way Filipino players can participate in this event is through Maxsoft's distributions. Let's hope that Maxsoft can also do something about the other GameStop-exclusive events in the lineup!
Based on similar distribution events they did previously, this might only be open to players who are residing in Southeast Asia. Maxsoft has yet to provide a specific date for the event but we'll update you as new information becomes available. Stay tuned!
