UPDATE 1: DataBlitz has opened up pre-orders for the game as well. Their pre-order fee is also P500 with an estimated SRP of P2,300 - P2,500 for the full game. They are also offering a Monster Hunter XX poster as their pre-order bonus.
GameXtreme has started taking pre-orders for the Switch version of Monster Hunter XX. The game's region is Japanese but it will be compatible with your North American Nintendo Switch since the console itself is region-free. The game will only contain Japanese language support, however. It is expected to come out on August 25, 2017.

Game One PH / i.TECH - Philippines has yet to follow suit.

Instructions
  • Prepare P500 for the Pre-order fee for the game. Afterwards you will be given a receipt which also doubles as a claim stub.
  • Do not lose this receipt! You will need to present this to their staff so they can subtract the Pre-order fee from the SRP once the game is released. (for example, if the game's SRP is P3,500, you will only need to pay P3,000 on launch day)
  • For inquiries or clarifications, kindly contact the branch where you are planning to Pre-order from. Please visit their website for more information.

It is yet unclear if any of our local retailers will be able to procure Limited Edition Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch bundle systems. The bundle is priced at Y36,280 (around P16,140 excluding tax) and will include a copy of the game.

Players with a Japanese copy of Monster Hunter X for the 3DS will get to carry over its save data through the Internet. While it’s a one-way transfer for Monster Hunter X’s data going to Monster Hunter XX for the Switch, both the 3DS and Switch versions of Monster Hunter XX will get to transfer data back and forth. While Monster Hunter Generations is the localized version of Monster Hunter X, its save data may not be compatible with Monster Hunter XX due to region restrictions and differences.

The Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch features both online and local multiplayer modes. The game will also support cross-platform play with the 3DS version of Monster Hunter XX but this can only be done online.

Capcom mentioned that they currently have no plans of bringing Monster Hunter XX to the West for now.
