The following privacy notice applies to this Website, www.pinoynintendo.blogspot.com. We may change or update this policy from time to time, and we will notify you of any changes by changing the "Effective" notice set forth above. Accordingly, you should frequently visit this page. Any updated policy shall be effective immediately after it is posted.

Non-Personal Information

Like most website operators, Pinoy Nintendo gathers non-personally-identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each Visitor request. Pinoy Nintendo's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how the Visitors use its website. From time to time, Pinoy Nintendo may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, for instance, by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Pinoy Nintendo also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Pinoy Nintendo does not use such information to identify its Visitors, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information.

Personal Information

Certain Visitors choose to interact with Pinoy Nintendo in ways that require Pinoy Nintendo to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Pinoy Nintendo gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, if a Visitor wishes to leave a comment on any Website content, the Visitor must use a Disqus account or a Facebook account linked to a Disqus account to do so. Event Organizers registered under Project StreetPass may leave contact information (eg: Facebook account URL & mobile number) for StreetPass Events. In each case, Pinoy Nintendo collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the Visitor’s interaction with Pinoy Nintendo. Pinoy Nintendo does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Website-related activities.

Any personal information or picture content that you voluntarily disclose online (in the comments section of the Website, on Social Media channels, etc.) becomes publicly available and you acknowledge that third parties may access, collect, and use such content. Such disclosures may also increase your chances of receiving unwanted communications.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Pinoy Nintendo discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its administrators and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Pinoy Nintendo’s behalf or to provide services available at Pinoy Nintendo’s Website, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Pinoy Nintendo will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its administrators and affiliated organizations, as described above, Pinoy Nintendo discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Pinoy Nintendo believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Pinoy Nintendo, third parties, or the public at large. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Nintendo takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before accessing our Website, with the drawback that certain features of the Website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

The Pinoy Nintendo Website may contain links to third party websites. Any information you provide to, or that is collected by, third-party sites may be subject to the privacy policies of those sites, if any. We encourage you to read such privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. It is the sole responsibility of such third parties to adhere to any applicable restrictions on the disclosure of your personally-identifying information, and Pinoy Nintendo and its affiliates shall not be liable for wrongful use or disclosure of your personally-identifying information by any third party.
