During a guest appearance at the YouTube Live at E3 2017 livestream with Geoff Keighley, Nintendo of America President and CEO Reginald "Reggie" Fils-Aimé mentioned that "the 3DS is going to get lots of love" even though their main focus will be on Super Mario Odyssey and upcoming Nintendo Switch games.
Reggie mentioned that they aim to continue to drive the momentum of both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS. The 25-minute Nintendo Spotlight is expected to "highlight a number of key games, a number of reveals, and a number of first looks” and is intended to be short and direct.
Various activities and game highlights are also planned for the week which include Nintendo Treehouse Live presentations and 3 tournaments. We have converted Nintendo's E3 Schedule to local time, which you can view on this link for your reference.
