It's that time of the year again when the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the largest annual trade fair for the video game industry, is in full bloom! The expo is expected to run from June 13 to 15 in the US (June 14 to 16 local time).

Nintendo rarely makes major announcements during E3 anymore ever since they started showcasing their own separate Nintendo Direct presentations. They do, however, still make it an entertaining experience for everyone as they showcase what people can expect from them in the next couple of months. We have already converted Nintendo's schedule below to Philippine time for your convenience:

Wednesday - June 14, 2017

The Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 is a 25-minute presentation that will focus on Super Mario Odyssey and other Nintendo Switch games launching this year. It starts at 12:00 AM.

It will be followed by the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 presentation around 12:30 AM. Based on previous E3 events, the Treehouse presentation will feature in-depth previews of Nintendo Switch games featured in the Spotlight as well as upcoming Nintendo 3DS games.

The Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational will begin at approximately 5:30 AM. The four teams that will compete are Deadbeat (United States), Dynameu (Japan), Rising Moon (Europe), and Blue Ringed Octolings (Australia/New Zealand). Jordan Kent, Ashley Esqueda, and Eric Smith will be the tournament's announcers.

Thursday - June 15, 2017

This day will primarily focus on the Nintendo Treehouse and their demonstrations of games over a number of hours starting at 1:00 AM followed by 2 tournaments.

The Pokkén Tournament DX Invitation tournament featuring 8 YouTuber and Twitch personalities will kick off around 1:30 AM. They will be split into 4 teams of 2 players who will compete for the championship. The featured prizes are autographed Pokkén Tournament DX artworks. Commentary will be provided by D1 and VikkiKitty.

In addition, the ARMS Open Invitational, will start at 6:30 AM. Aside from 4 video-game celebrity participants (Alex "CaliPower" Valle, Kelsy "SuperGirlKels" Medeiros, Daniel “Tafokints” Lee, and Marie-Laure “Kayane” Norindr), 4 E3 attendees who qualify during the event will also join the fray for the championship below. Commentary will also be provided by D1 and VikkiKitty.

Friday - June 16, 2017

At the time of writing, only the Nintendo Treehouse is scheduled for the final day. The broadcast will also start at 1:00 AM and it will be another chance to check out game demonstrations for the last time.

Aside from the scheduled activities featured above, what new announcements are you hoping to hear?
