How to Get Your Own Shaymin in Pokemon X, Y, OR, & AS

There's no shame in redeeming this month's free Event Pokemon!

Get your own Shaymin in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire by following the instructions below.

Instructions

• Load your copy of Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire.
• At the title screen, choose Mystery Gift.
• Choose Receive Gift.
• Select Yes.
• Choose Get Via Internet.
• Select Yes.
• After receiving Shaymin's Wonder Card, talk to the Event Lady NPC inside any Pokemon Center in-game to receive your Event Shaymin.

This event runs until July 24, 2016 and will work for North American (the same region as US, Asian or MDE) copies of the game.

You can only redeem one Shaymin per save file. To change it to its Sky Forme, you will need the Gracidea Flower. This Key Item can be obtained from a girl in Snowbelle City Pokemon Center (Pokemon X & Y) or from a person inside the Berry Master's house in Route 123 (Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire) if you talk to them with a Shaymin in your party from 5AM to 8PM everyday.
