One of our local retailers have provided a very valuable update this afternoon: the Collector's Edition of Bravely Second: End Layer will launch locally! The only problem is that they were only able to procure very limited stocks so expect it to appear in selected undisclosed branches (at the time of writing), nationwide.
As a recap, the North American (the same region as US, Asian, or MDE) version of Bravely Second's Limited Edition will have the following:
- Bravely Second: End Layer game
- A Deluxe Artbook (250+ pages)
- The Original Soundtrack CD
For reference, the Collector's Edition of the first Bravely Default game had a North American MSRP of $49.99 (approximately P2,303 excluding tax) but it was sold here for P3,395 ($73). Even the recently released Fire Emblem Fates - Special Edition was sold here for P4,995 ($109), a little higher than its North American MSRP of $79.99 (approximately P3,684 excluding tax).
A Special Demo version of Bravely Second: End Layer is currently available for download from the 3DS eShop. This will serve as a short prequel to the main game. Similar to the Demo version of Bravely Default, Bravely Second's Special Demo will allow you to transfer goodies to your main game.
In addition, pre-orders for the regular versions of Bravely Second: End Layer are still on-going. Bravely Second: End Layer for the Nintendo 3DS will release this Friday, April 15, 2016.
