How to Get Your Own Jirachi in Pokemon X, Y, OR, & AS

April has just arrived and despite the date, this is definitely no joke! Jirachi is this month's Pokemon's 20th anniversary Mythical Pokemon giveaway. No need to wish for dubious Jirachi through Wonder Trade or the GTS as you can get your own for free!

Get your own Jirachi in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire by following the instructions below.

Instructions

• Load your copy of Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire.
• At the title screen, choose Mystery Gift.
• Choose Receive Gift.
• Select Yes.
• Choose Get Via Internet.
• Select Yes.
• After receiving Jirachi's Wonder Card, talk to the Event Lady NPC inside any Pokemon Center in-game to receive your Event Jirachi.

This event runs until April 24, 2016 and will work for North American (the same region as US, Asian or MDE) copies of the game. You can only redeem one Jirachi per save file. Serebii lists the following information for this Jirachi:

In addition, the Mythical Pokemon Collection - Jirachi Pokemon Trading Card Game box is currently available in North America but our local retailers have yet to post any update about it.
