UPDATE3: Support says members who registered accounts under the Philippines will not receive any codes. Will try to respond back since the previous Newsletters sent were for the US region.The Pokemon Trainer Club Newsletter for March have been emailed to people who opted-in to their email promos before March 1, 2018. The aforementioned email will contain a serial code for either Regigigas or Heatran, depending on your game version.
UPDATE2: It seems that players who registered their Pokemon Trainer Club under the Philippines only received the UK version of this month's Newsletter. It is not yet known if this is a bug or an intended change. Every promotional email sent prior to the March 2018 Newsletter was for the US region. Members with PH accounts even received serial codes for the Legendary Bird Trio from Kanto with Hidden Abilities during the May 2016 Newsletter distribution event. In line with this, we have reported this issue through their Support channel and are currently waiting for their response.
UPDATE1: For members with US accounts who have yet to receive the Newsletter, give it a couple more hours just in case they are sending the emails by batches. Be sure to check your Spam folder as well.
Remember to update your 3DS firmware and download the latest Pokemon software update from the eShop before you do this to save time.
Instructions
- Load your copy of Pokemon Sun/Moon or Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon.
- At the title screen, pick "Mystery Gift".
- Choose "Receive Gift".
- Choose "Get with Code/Password".
- Select "Yes" twice.
- Enter the serial code you received from the Newsletter email.
- You can then get Regigigas in Pokemon Sun/Ultra Sun OR Heatran in Pokemon Moon/Ultra Moon from the Event NPC inside any Pokemon Center in-game.
