News regarding Tanukii Studios' Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D - Space Recipe for Disaster is very scarce. For the first time after its announcement in 2012, North American (the same region as US, Asian, & MDE) publisher CIRCLE Entertainment finally confirmed through Twitter that the game is still under development.
Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D - Space Recipe for Disaster is a sequel to the 2011 DSiWare action puzzle platform arcade game Go! Go! Kokopolo. Tanukii Studio's sole developer and member, Keith Webb initially confirmed that there will be 80 brand new stages and 10 new boss fights in this game but the gameplay will still follow the original's formula of mayhem and mazes.
As the story goes, Kokopolo, Tatsumo, and Jinbe each chance upon a piece of a magical stone tablet from outer space and set out to uncover the final piece, said to grant the secrets of immortality to its owner. The multiple playable characters each have their own route through the game, with new stages including deserts, castles, factories and scrap yards, before the story concludes in the depths of the cosmos.
CIRCLE Entertainment has yet to provide an estimated release date for Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D - Space Recipe for Disaster.
