Stay up to date on Nintendo 3DS-related news with our Weekly Digest! Remember, you can follow the links to read more information on each subject. Here are this week's highlights collated from November 8 to November 14, 2015:

Local News

‣ Pinoy3DS.org is Now Live!
At last, we've finally acquired a new home and made necessary changes to our site. These upgrades are geared towards improvement as we strive to provide the latest Nintendo 3DS happenings to our community. We wouldn't be here without your continued support!

‣ Stella Glow Now Available Locally
Like what happened to Rodea The Sky Soldier last week, our local retailers unexpectedly launched the physical retail copies of Stella Glow several days ahead of its scheduled North American debut. The Launch Edition copies also came with several goodies so we can't really complain! Our review for this game will be posted soon. For the time being, you can check the Stella Glow discussion thread back at the Pinoy 3DS Facebook group if you wish to learn more about the game.

‣ Shovel Knight Retail Now Available Locally
While Stella Glow arrived early, the physical retail copies of Shovel Knight came a week late. The game includes all the updates available so far on the digital version of the game. Shovel Knight is inspired by gameplay and graphics of platformer games originally developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System/Family Computer. With this in mind, you can expect the same degree of challenges you have to dig yourself out of!

‣ Mewtwo amiibo Now Available Locally
Speaking of early releases, we also got the Mewtwo amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series a day early than North America. Some retail store branches have the Japanese figures on stock instead of the American one so is there any difference? While amiibo figures are region-free, some people prefer the box-art of the North American version for collection purposes. That's all there is to it as these figures still have the same exact function.

‣ Mario Kart 8 McDonald's Happy Meal Now Available Locally
Mario Kart 8 and McDonald's Happy Meal, do we need to say more? Now, if they can also bring the Hoopa and the Clash of Ages promotion over here as well..

StreetPass Events

‣ StreetPass - UPLB 3DS 11.13.15
The venue for this event was originally at Bon Appetea on Grove St, Los BaƱos, Laguna but they decided to move it to McDonald's instead so they could purchase Mario Kart 8 Happy Meal toys. You can also view the photos they submitted on the Gallery posted for this event.

‣ StreetPass - NorthGate Keepers 11.14.15
This event was held at Starbucks Fastbytes, Alabang, Muntilupa.

3DS Updates

‣ Radiant Historia's Director Interested in A Sequel
5 years after Radiant Historia for the Nintendo DS came out, project Director Mitsuru Hirata revealed that he's always holding onto an attitude that "someday a new Radiant Historia!" will materialize.

‣ Pokemon Shuffle 1.2.23 Update
The Tornadus Challenge was added. You can only play this stage once a day. A previous Pokemon Safari Challenge featuring Elektrike, Manectric, Stantler, Daramuka, and Darmanitan returned.

‣ Nintendo 3DS Firmware 10.2.0-28U
A new update for 3DS went live. As usual, this update features stability upgrades that fixes potential bugs, glitches, or exploits. You will need the latest firmware if you wish to access the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

‣ 3DS eShop Updates - November 13
Etrian Odyssey Untold 1 & 2 discounts and many more.

‣ Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei Returns on the 2nd Quarter of 2016
After 15 years, the strategy RPG series Langrisser is coming back. The publisher gave it a placeholder release date around the 2nd Quarter 2016 (April-June).

‣ Badge Arcade Now Available
The free-to-start Badge Arcade application is available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS eShop! This allows you to further customize your Home Menu with the use of Badges.

‣ Rytmik Ultimate Aiming for a December Release
This application is a powerful pocket music station for the Nintendo 3DS that allows you to not only play with samples and musical instruments but also to mix them together, shape them, and create music clips or tracks. If you liked the KORG DSN-12 application for the 3DS, then you'll probably find this app interesting as well.

‣ Nintendo Direct 11.13.15 Recap + Video Replay
Highlights from the last Nintendo Direct, in case you missed the plethora of updates.
