One of the new jobs introduced in the original Japanese version of Bravely Second: End Layer is called the "Tomahawk". This class is skilled in handling the gun, where it can impart its full attack and various secondary effects. The Tomahawk's character design resembles that of a traditional Native American garb.
The characters above are the in-game models for Amy Matchlock and Magnolia Arch's Tomahawk class in Bravely Second: End Layer. Destructoid recently reported based on a tip that the Tomahawk class was replaced by the Cowboy class on the Western version of Bravely Second. This was probably done in an effort to dodge politically correct individuals in the West. While it's not entirely confirmed whether or not this is the case, this wouldn't be the first time a game was changed to avoid offending certain parties in the West. In addition, there's been a recent drive to avoid representing Native Americans in media. For example, the American football team Washington Redskins have been the subject of controversy with lawsuits being filed by Native American groups who consider the team name and logo offensive.
Bravely Second for the Nintendo 3DS will release in North America (the same region as US, Asian, & MDE) sometime during the 1st Quarter of 2016.
