REV Major is a two-day fighting game event where the best players in the Philippines come to Manila to duke it out in a variety of tournaments. It is also home to the Tekken 7 Asia-Pacific Masters event of the Tekken World Tour. In addition to Tekken 7, it will also feature side tournaments for Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, The King of Fighters XIV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and of course, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U!

Tournament Rules

General Rules Affecting All Games
- All tournaments wil run via double elimination format
- All tournament games are 1 bs 1 affairs.
- All tournament will be run on Playstation 4 consoles except for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
- Character change is only allowed after losing a game.
- Players must report to their stations within 5 minutes of their name being called or risk forfeiture of their match.
- Players must bring their own controllers (fightsticks, gamepads, hitboxes, etc)
- All games will be subjected under the ACCIDENTAL PAUSE rule. Accidental Pause covers the following scenarios:
- A player accidentally hits the pause or home button on his/her controller pad or fightstick.
- A player's controller pad or fightstick malfunctions, causing the game to be paused.
- When an ACCIDENTAL PAUSE scenario occurs, the offending player has the following options:
- Continue the match; or
- Take or win the round. If the offended player chooses to take/win the round, the following rules will be upheld:
- Offended player has the life lead: Both players will have to wait it out until the time ends. No meter building for both players.
- Offended player does not have the life lead: Offended player will hit his opponent until he gets the life lead then both players will have to wait it out until the time ends. Player who paused the game cannot build any meter at this time.

**Treated as Final Destination in striking phase. If Final Destination is struck, Omega Stages are struck and vice versa. You may only choose the followign Omega Stages: Midgar, Suzaku Castle, and Wily Castle.
- STARTER STAGES
- Starter stage will be determined by Rock-Paper-Scissors. The winner bans 1 stage. The loser bans 2. And the winner then chooses between the 2 remaining stages.
- Following stages decided by winner banning 1 stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
- Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before the loser selects character
- You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.
