Another Limited Edition New 3DS XL for your Pokemon Sun & Moon starter pack!
A local retailer confirmed that an Asian (the same region as North America, US, & MDE) version of the Japan-only Limited Edition Pikachu Pokemon Sun & Moon New 3DS XL will launch at the same time with Pokemon Sun & Moon on November 18, 2016. This is not the first time that Southeast Asia received a system that is currently not available in the US (eg: Pearl White New 3DS XL, Metallic Blue New 3DS XL).
Similar to the Limited Edition Solgaleo & Lunala Pokemon Sun & Moon New 3DS XL released last October 28, the Pikachu New 3DS XL will not come pre-installed with either Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon. The Japanese version is also priced at 18,800 Yen (approximately P8,750 excluding tax). For reference, the Solgaleo & Lunala New 3DS XL was sold here for P11,995 (P11,500 if paid with cash).
Unfortunately, we have yet to receive any updates regarding the Pokemon Sun and Moon Steelbook Dual Pack and the non-steel case Dual Pack variant we previously mentioned from our survey last October 20.
