It's the cheapest Regular New 3DS "bundle" so far!
Up until now, all Regular New 3DS systems released for North America (the same region as US, Asian, & MDE) have white as their base color. They also come pre-installed with a game (eg: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Pokemon Red & Pokemon Blue, Super Mario 3D Land). This time Nintendo announced two versions of a system-only Limited Edition New 3DS "bundle", if you like would like to call it that, specifically for Black Friday - one black and one white.
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the US, noted as the first day of traditional Christmas shopping, during which crowds of consumers are drawn to special offers by retailers. Aside from having a never-before-released black Regular New 3DS variant, the Limited Edition systems are also priced at $99.99 (around P4,860 excluding tax), making them the cheapest Regular New 3DS to be released so far. For reference, the Super Mario 3D Land Regular New 3DS bundle originally released in the US for $149.99 (around P7,300 excluding tax) was sold here for P9,495.
While Black Friday sales aren't that popular in the Philippines, we can still ask our local retailers about this special system. It will be available on November 25, 2016 in the US.
