The official Pokémon Philippines Facebook page has announced the next mall tour for the upcoming Pokemon The Movie 21: The Power of Us this Sunday. People can meet & greet the official Pikachu mascot along with games and giveaways.
The movie will debut on December 5, 2018 in SM Cinemas though it is unclear if it will only be available on select theaters similar to Pokemon the Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened in 2013.
Unfortunately no local tie-in in-game events have been announced at the time of writing for either the mall tours or the actual movie release. In the US, the Mythical Pokemon Zeraora was distributed for the Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon games through participating game stores via code. Japan gave them away through local Wi-Fi on top of another code distribution event for a Multiscale Lugia for those who pre-booked the movie.
