UPDATE: As of 7:41 PM local time, GameXtreme has sent a new SMS saying that they will be releasing both the games and the Switch bundle tomorrow afternoon. This may differ across branches so it is still wise to contact the specific stores tomorrow just to be sure. Here's the message shared by Cali Francisco:The Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! games for the Nintendo Switch are scheduled to come out tomorrow but a couple of people received grave news about the aforementioned launch.
People who pre-ordered from GameXtreme were notified through SMS that the shipment of the Pokemon Let's Go games, the Pikachu & Eevee Edition Nintendo Switch bundle, and the Pokeball Plus controller will be delayed for a day and will come out instead on Saturday, November 17, 2018. According to the message, the update came from "Nintendo management" though it is still unclear if this is actually referring to Maxsoft, the official distributor of Nintendo products in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Here is the post shared by Gab Dela Cruz in the Pinoy Nintendo Switch Facebook group:
Another local retailer, Game One PH / i.TECH - Philippines, confirmed that there will be no delays on their end and the games will indeed be available tomorrow.
DataBlitz on the other hand weren't able to provide any concrete information but they did say that they will post an announcement on their official Facebook page when the games become available.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to gather information from other stores like Toy Kingdom and Toys R Us.
Whatever the case maybe, the best course of action is to contact the specific branch you pre-ordered or are planning to purchase the game from before going out to prevent unforeseen mishaps.
