Atlus just announced that the final iteration of the Etrian Odyssey series is coming to North America (the same region as US, MDE, and Asian) on February 5, 2019!
Known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu X in Japan, Etrian Odyssey Nexus culminates the entire dungeon-crawling experience in one definitive game. It features the most number of available playable classes, characters, and labyrinths in the entire series so far. The 4 difficulty settings along with the other features aim to optimize the gameplay experience for both series novices and veterans alike. Character Designer Yuji Himukai, Monster Designer Shin Nagasawa, and Composer Yuzo Koshiro return to preserve the original feel of the series that captivated fans in the first place.
Director Shigeo Komori mentioned that even though this is the last title for the 3DS, it is actually the beginning of the next stage for the franchise. Atlus also made this revelation in their teaser trailer released last month.
