Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Coming to the Switch

All Mega Man X games are coming to the Switch on July 24 under two titles.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection will include the first 4 Mega Man titles while Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will feature the rest of the series: Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8.

The physical retail cartridge will only contain the first collection but a download code for the second one will be included in the bundle, similar to what they did for the classic Mega Man Legacy Collection bundle which is scheduled to come out next month.

Additional content will include:

• high-resolution and CRT filters
• original fullscreen and widescreen modes
• a gallery featuring various illustrations & concept art
• a music player containing full original soundtracks, remixes & new tracks
• The Day of Σ prologue OVA
• a catalog of vintage commercials & trailers for the games
• a merchandise gallery featuring physical products like figures & apparel
• new X Challenge mode leaderboard

While the 3DS has been left out once again, you can still purchase the digital versions of Mega Man X, X2, and X3 separately if you have a New 3DS, New 3DS XL, or New 2DS XL system.
