Things start to heat up literally around March but could we also say the same for the 3DS and Switch releases?
There are 2 notable 3DS titles for this month. The long awaited adventure Pokemon spin-off, Detective Pikachu and FuRyu's RPG follow-up, The Alliance Alive. A 13.6-cm Pikachu amiibo is also scheduled to be released that will allow players to view all the Pika Prompts from chapters they have completed in the game. A Launch Edition for The Alliance Alive will also be available when the game comes out.
The Switch has more in store for people with a number of indie titles and major releases. Scribblenauts: Showdown, Kirby Star Allies, Splatoon 2: Starter Edition, and Attack on Titan 2 to name a few. Splatoon 2: Starter Edition is the second re-release of an existing Switch game in the West following The Legend of Zelda: A Breath of the Wild - Explorer's Edition. This special bundle includes the full game, a 100-page Splatoon 2 strategy guide, and 2 sticker sheets for the same price.

While the 3DS is region-locked, the Switch is not so you can play Japanese Switch games on your US Switch console. The eShop usually updates at 12 PM or 3 PM of the same day or at 12 AM of the next day, Philippine Time. Local retailers like DataBlitz and Game One PH/ i.TECH will usually sell physical copies at the date of release, unless unforeseen shipments or delivery problems occur.
