Pokemon Gold & Silver Headed to the 3DS Virtual Console

Securing physical copies of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver may cost you an arm and a leg so here's the next best thing!

Pokemon fans can now revisit the classic Johto region with Pokemon Gold & Silver, which were originally released for the Nintendo Game Boy Color on 2001.

New features include:

• Online wireless Link Trades and Link Battles with other copies of Pokemon Gold & Silver
• Time Capsule Link Trades with the Generation 1 games (Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow).
• Pokemon Bank update so you can transfer caught Pokemon to Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon.

Pokemon Gold & Silver will be available on the 3DS eShop on September 22, 2017.
