The Pinoy 3DS Weekly Digest is back on track after missing at least a week's worth of new content! You can still check out our last issue to see where we left off. Remember, you can follow the links below to read more information on each subject. Here are this week's highlights collated from December 20 to December 26, 2015:

Local News

‣ Pinoy 3DS Update - Dec. 21
Our site went inactive for almost 2 weeks because of intermittent power and network-related issues brought by the recent weather disturbances. While we may have missed a couple of updates during this period, we will still do our best to catch up!

‣ Pre-order Final Fantasy Explorers Locally
Game One Gadget Store / i.TECH - Philippines is now accepting pre-order requests for the Standard Edition copy of Final Fantasy Explorers. The game will release on January 26, 2016. Unfortunately, we have yet to receive any update if regarding the Collector's Edition of the game.

‣ HORI Push! 3DS Card Case Now Available Locally
You can now purchase the 6-cartridge capacity 3DS Card Case with a unique twist from any Game One Gadget Store / i.TECH - Philippines or DataBlitz branches nationwide. Be sure to call your prefered branch first!

‣ Christmas Arceus Local Distribution
If you missed Maxsoft's Christmas Arceus Distribution last December 21 on their Facebook page, this maybe your last chance to befriend the Alpha Pokemon this year!

‣ Vote For The Best 3DS Games of 2015
2015 certainly gave Nintendo 3DS owners a couple of interesting moments in gaming. The best way to end the year is by commemorating the amazing games we've seen and played on our handhelds.

StreetPass Events

Unfortunately, we were unable to publish any StreetPass announcements this week. Remember, some b>StreetPass Communities prefer to announce their Events internally. This means StreetPass Events may still happen even though we don't publish them. It would be best if you can coordinate with the Event Organizers from the contacts section for each StreetPass Community for more information.

3DS Updates

‣ Get Your Very Own Arceus This Christmas
Maxsoft distributed Serial Codes for the Christmas Arceus Event last December 21. The codes were all distributed after just 4 hours. If you missed this event, you can still try your luck with the local distribution by DataBlitz.

‣ Pokemon Shuffle 1.2.27 Update
Aside from the Keldeo Resolute Form Challenge, new Pokemon have also been added to Roseus Center from the regular stages. Players will also get another chance at the Shaymin, Regice, and Mega Garchomp Reruns.

‣ The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes Ver 2.1.0 Update
After downloading the Ver 2.1.0 Update, players will now be rewarded with Hero points for playing a level that they didn’t vote for in Online Play and by clearing any level or challenge in Local Play or Download Play. By collecting enough hero points, players can power up the Bear Minimum outfit, and players will be able to obtain materials from the Street Merchant to create outfits they do not already own.

‣ The Art of Fire Emblem: Awakening Coming to North America
First released in Japan on 2012, the artbook offers beautifully illustrated renditions of your favorite characters, storyboards for in-game events, character designs, weapon designs, character profiles, and the entirety of the script with every possible branch of dialogue in English. It is slated for release sometime from July to August 2016 in North America. If you wish to purchase a copy locally, your best bet is to inquire from Fully Booked.

‣ Special Mii Kyle and New Puzzle Swap Panel Arrive on Mii Plaza
Kyle from Nintendo is back! He also brought with him a new panel for the Puzzle Swap Mii Plaza mini-game: Mario & Luigi Paper Jam. Thankfully, there are no Pink Puzzle pieces for this particular panel. Hooray!

‣ 3DS eShop Updates - December 25
Get more bang for your buck this Holiday season with discounted eShop prices! From Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to the Phoenix Wright series and Shovel Knight. What more can you ask for?
