2019 marks a new phase for the VGC 2019 format. The Moon Series will now replace the previous restrictions brought by the Sun Series last year which can definitely shift the current meta. These changes will be discussed below under the Format section.

Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! may have debuted on the Nintendo Switch, but the official home of the VGC series is still on the 3DS with Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Here's one of the tournaments for this month if you're near the SM Mall of Asia area.
