NIS America has revealed that Culdcept Revolt's launch date has been moved to October 3, 2017 from its initial August placeholder release date. They added that the delay is necessary to "accommodate the manufacturing and production of the game".
The Culdcept series is a turn-based card-themed strategy RPG that shares features with non-video games like Monopoly and Magic: The Gathering. It was last seen in the West way back in 2003 for the PlayStation 2.
A Limited Edition of the game has also been announced. Aside from the game itself, it will also include a hardcover art book, 1-disc original soundtrack, set of two dice, set of seven foil cards, and a collectors’ box. This is different from RPG Maker Fes' Limited Edition in that it is not exclusive to NIS America's Online Store. There is still no word if our local retailers will be able to procure some Limited Edition copies locally.
Unfortunately, the Challenge From Hell and Soltis Book Cover pre-order bonus DLCs are exclusive to GameStop stores in the US.
