Much like what Professor Kukui did for the Alola region, our friends from the international Pokemon Legit Trainers Facebook group are establishing their own Pokemon League.

The Pokemon Legit Trainers League Challenge, hereinafter referred to as "PLT League", aims to promote the use of legit Pokemon in competitive battles. This competition is open to every Pokemon Sun & Moon players around the world.

    *Garchomp, Mimikyu, and Alolan Marowak were the Top 3 most used breedable Pokemon in recently concluded Alolan Friendly competition. These are all 100% legit and are bred/trained for the sake of this competition. You can use the Bottle Caps to Hyper Train one of your Pokemon's IV.

Format

PLT League Format

  • The tournament format will be Best-of-3 single elimination.
  • All matches are played in the Singles Battle: Normal Rules format.
  • Players will choose 3 of their 6 registered Pokémon after team preview.
  • Typing Rule: At least 4 of your Pokemon need to have the same typing, regardless if they have pure or mixed typing (sample team: Mega-Venusaur, Breloom, Ferrothorn, Sunkern, Magikarp, & Gyarados).
  • Species Clause: No two Pokémon on your team can share the same Pokédex number.
  • Item Clause: No two Pokémon on your team can hold the same held item.
  • Megastones and Z-Crystals are allowed.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle (Leppa Berry + Harvest and Leppa Berry + Recycle).
  • Transferred Pokemon from previous generations are allowed.
  • All Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are banned (all forms):

Legitimacy

  • Only legitimate copies of Pokémon Sun and Pokemon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS are allowed in the competition.
  • Please refrain from using Pokémon of questionable origin (hacked, modified, Powersaved, etc.).
  • Players found to have illegal copies of Pokémon Sun and Pokemon Moon or Pokémon that have been tampered with will be disqualified from the event and banned from future Tournaments, regardless of whether the player tampered with his or her game or received a Pokémon or item that was tampered with by someone other than the player.
Additional Rules

  • Only players who have duly accomplished the registration form for this tournament will be allowed to participate.
  • Every time the Tournament Ladder is posted and updated, participants are given 48 hours to battle with their partners.
  • Participants must join the Pokemon Legit Trainers Facebook group to see these updates so they can contact their respective partners.
  • Players who will change their Pokemon line-up during the tournament will be disqualified.
  • The organizer(s) have a final say as regards to any complications that may occur (e.g. disconnection problems, no-shows, etc.).
  • Players who fail to follow the aforementioned rules will be subject to disqualification.
