The following guidelines are made specifically for the Pinoy 3DS Facebook group.
Greetings! The Pinoy 3DS community aims to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for Filipino 3DS users. In order to maintain order and a sense of community, all members are requested to read and follow these conditions.
1. Do not discuss piracy, hacks, or exploits.
Discussion of piracy is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, piracy-related hardware or software (eg: R4, Gateway 3DS, Sky 3DS, etc), cheating devices (eg: Powersave, Action Replay, etc), custom firmware (eg: looking for units with low firmware), hacks (region change, region free), homebrew, bootleg devices, exploits, or third-party emulators AND illegally downloaded games/ROMs.
2. Do not spam.
Posting non-related topics that do not concern or involve the 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS, New 3DS XL, their games, or Nintendo should be avoided. Unauthorized advertising (promoting groups that are not managed or are affiliated with Pinoy 3DS - see Useful Link under Section 7), promotional materials (products or services unrelated to the 3DS), junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation will be dealt with accordingly.
3. Do not instigate hate on other platforms.
Unbiased comparisons (eg: system performance, games that are multi-platform, sales data, etc.) to other platforms are welcome for as long as you intend to educate and not to bash them. Statements that are fanboy-ish in nature are not allowed.
4. Do not use profanity or inappropriate content.
Pinoy 3DS is a Family-friendly group. Please refrain from using foul and offensive language since we have members that are still minors. Facebook names, profile & cover photos, posts, comments, and photo comments that contain inappropriate content are also discouraged.
5. Buying, selling, or trading can only be posted on the Marketplace subgroup.
We have a specific subgroup for your buying, selling, and trading needs. Please join the Pinoy 3DS Marketplace subgroup and post your ads there. This subgroup was made to keep the main Pinoy 3DS wall clutter-free. 6. Please check the following for Friend Code requests.
Please check the Project Mii Plaza article in our blog to view our list of Friend Codes. You will need to notify the other party if you wish to add them in your Friend List. You can do this by sending them a private message through Facebook or by tagging the individuals in the discussion thread dedicated for this topic. 7. Useful Links.
Please check this document first to find discussion threads of your favorite games, links to Pinoy 3DS-managed game subgroups & affiliates, and other useful documents and articles. We use discussion threads in the group to minimize post clutter in the group's wall. 8. Read first.

We have compiled all available contact information we can find from local game retailers. Please use this information and coordinate with them directly if you wish to know the prices of brand new systems, games, or accessories and/or if these items are available at a specific branch. Please use the Search feature in the Pinoy 3DS Marketplace subgroup if you prefer second-hand prices.

While Admins can still view and delete posts from an individual who blocked them, the member in question will not have the ability to see any content (eg: group rules, guidelines, updates, warnings, etc) from a blocked Admin. This sadly interferes with our goal of promoting harmony and camaraderie in our community. If you have any disputes with an Admin, kindly coordinate with the Admin team to clear any misunderstanding. 12. Please avoid Spoilers.
We know that some gamers like to share the fruit of their labors whenever they beat a game or finish some gargantuan task. Please avoid posting spoilers (eg: the game's ending, plot twists, story progressions, etc) directly or in the comments. If your question or discussion topic is bordering spoiler territory, please use appropriate spoiler warnings (eg: the "period-enter spam" trick, uploading a photo on imgur, etc).
13. Switch & Other Nintendo Content.
Nintendo Switch and other Nintendo-related content outside the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS line should be posted in our Pinoy Nintendo group. If you find a post that violates any of the aforementioned rules, kindly inform the individual properly or report him/her to an Admin. Please do not add more fuel to the fire.
Posts are filtered to minimize spam and sort out infractions. Please wait for an online Admin to approve your posts. Double-posts or topics that already have a discussion thread will be moved to their respective threads. This is also done to minimize post clutter in the group's wall.
Admins can delete non-compliant posts and issue warnings. These warnings are meant to inform, not to ridicule.
The group administration reserves the right to suspend certain members either temporarily or permanently, without stating the reasons and with no prior warning.
